Morgenland Solutions builds Shopify apps that each do one job well. The first, Findora, is a product search and filter app. More will follow, one at a time.
Where it started
Built for a real catalog first
Findora began as search and filtering built for one store with a large, varied catalog: thousands of products, attributes that genuinely matter to shoppers, and filters that had to be fast and feel like part of the theme.
That work became Morgenland Solutions. The apps we build start from a specific problem, are kept deliberately small, and are built with Shopify's own tools so they behave like part of the platform.
We would rather ship fewer apps that are complete than many that are half there. If something is not built yet, this site says so.
How we work
Four rules every app has to keep
One job per app
Each app solves a single problem and is judged on that alone. A feature that belongs to a different job becomes a different app, or nothing.
Standalone by design
Apps don't depend on each other and don't share data. Each has its own setup, billing and storage. Install one, or several; each works on its own.
Built the Shopify way
Embedded in the Shopify admin, billed through Shopify, added to the storefront with theme app extensions. You sign in with Shopify; there is no account with us.
Plain and direct
Clear language in the product, in the docs and on this site. Pricing you can predict, and no numbers we cannot back.
Data
What we keep, and what we don't
Your catalog
An app that searches your products keeps a copy of your product data for as long as it is installed. When you uninstall, it is removed within the window Shopify's rules set.
Your shoppers
Findora stores no shopper personal data. Search analytics record the query and the filters used, never who searched.
Between apps
Nothing. Each app has its own storage and credentials. One app cannot read another's data, and we do not combine it.
