What Findora stores, what it never stores, and what happens to your data when you uninstall.
Findora is in development. These docs describe the app as it is being built; details can change before it is listed on the Shopify App Store.
What Findora stores
- A copy of your catalog (products, variants, collections, the metafields you filter on) to build the search index.
- Your settings: filters, search rules, appearance, plan.
- Search analytics without personal data, kept for 90 days. See Analytics.
Your storefront configuration is stored in Shopify as data owned by the Findora app: other apps cannot overwrite it.
What Findora never stores
Customer or shopper personal data. Findora does not ask for permission to read customers or orders.
Your data and other apps
Each Morgenland Solutions app has its own storage. Findora’s data is not shared with, or read by, any other app.
When you uninstall
- Findora stops all work for your store immediately and its subscription ends.
- Your data is kept for 48 hours, so reinstalling within that window brings your configuration back.
- After that, Shopify asks Findora to delete your store’s data, and Findora deletes it, including the search index.
